McClure-Davison Pools installed an in-ground pool for me last Summer. I had promised my husband that if the above-ground pool needed any more work, it was being yanked and a new in-ground would go in. Of course, it needed work and although I did not realize what this meant – the team at McClure-Davison did and helped me keep my promise. It was a big project for me with landscapers, retaining walls, electrical, tearing down of an above-ground pool all needing to be accomplished and my schedule is hectic traveling for work. I felt overwhelmed but Russ, Mark, and team – make it so much easier by explaining every detail to me and walking me through the steps so I would not feel the stress a project like this could cause. After all the work, seeing my family splashing and enjoying the pool made me know this was the perfect decision. My husband is smiling from heaven.

I called Russ Davison from a referral by the mfg. of Thursdays Pool in Indiana. He called and introduced himself to set an appointment. I had already had two others pool companies at the house. This was a new home and we had never owned a pool. Russ said he loved Thursday Pools and he explained that was the guy who would be installing it in our backyard. He was very knowledgeable and experienced, very important. The best part of his closing statement was this pool would be scheduled, delivered and installed on the week of delivery. It was delivered on Monday, water filled by Wednesday and concrete done by Friday. All others did not discuss that part of the plan. And it happened just that way. He has a very respectful crew and he works hard to make it right. I am a 100% referral for Russ and Tara. I appreciated the professionalism of both McClure-Davison Pools and Thursday Pools.

Tara, Russ and the employees are awesome to work with. Several things have stood out to us in our pool buying experience. First was our initial meeting. Russ and Tara both visited with us and took a lot of time and effort with the planning. I think we were most impressed with all the options to choose from and how quickly you were able to draw ideas up with your software. That right away gave a great vision to the project. You were both very nice and patient with us knowing this was a big decision. And very personable too. That certainly added a nice touch to the experience… that it wasn’t “just business.” The second thing that stood out to me was how easy it was to get ahold of them when we had questions. As first-time pool buyers, we certainly had a lot of questions with the operation of the pool, chemicals, water levels, etc. We always knew that they both were a call or a text away and were met with prompt replies and answers. On dig day, we ran into A LOT of problems that were out of all our control due to unknown buried obstacles. Each challenge was met with calm thinking and alternative options. I really appreciated that out of both you, and all your staff as it was quite stressful.

My husband and I would gladly recommend this team to anyone interested in purchasing a fiber glass pool. They were very professional and listened to what we wanted as a family. At no point did we feel as if they were just trying to “sell” us a pool. They adjusted to our contractor’s schedule and made sure the pool was delivered and installed in a timely manner. The pool placement was perfect given all the challenges with our driveway and narrow backyard. They were also patient with us as we changed our minds several times on some of the equipment choices.
