Our Process

We are by your side from design to completion.

Our Commitment

When choosing McClure-Davison Pools you are assured of the following:

You are choosing a qualified builder.  We are members of the Association of Pool and Spa Professionals. This designation means that we agree to contribute to the health, safety and welfare of the public in the design, installation, maintenance and operation of swimming pools, by complying with all applicable laws, ordinances or regulations and refraining from engaging in fraudulent or deceptive acts or practices.  Pools are our job, not a secondary addition to our company.

An interactive design process that allows you to take the lead in designing your backyard oasis so you’re happy with your purchase before we make the first dig.  Your pool and backyard should reflect your family’s lifestyle, so throughout the design process, we spend a lot of time working with you to make sure our visions are the same.

Your installation is our top priority.  Our “A” rating from the BBB supports this philosophy.

Our associates attend regular training to stay on top the latest equipment and processes.  You can rest assured that the equipment we install is the most efficient and highly reputable equipment on the market and our crew is armed with knowledge to make sure that your pool will stand the test of time.

You will be comfortable operating your new pool equipment. We will not leave the job until you’re satisfied with operating your purchase. And if you have questions, we are always a phone call away.

Our Process

Every job is unique, and a detailed plan will be given you before construction begins.  But how long does the process actually take?  We follow the philosophy that building a pool ‘takes the time that it takes’ to do it RIGHT.  However, below is a typical install that does not account for weather and other unforeseen circumstances.

Day One

Pool equipment has arrived and McClure-Davison Pools will be at the job site to layout the pool as shown on the 3D design.  We do ask that an owner is onsite to approve the location.  Excavation of the pool starts and your backyard transformation begins.  Most pool shells will arrive early afternoon, you won’t want to miss it coming down the road!

Day Two

This is the day of fun!  The pool will be lowered into the ground by mid-morning and rock and fill work will be done. In addition, the ground will be prepped for concrete decking and any additions will be finalized by the end of day. AND…The first load of water will arrive to fill the pool – this an exciting part for the little ones to watch!

Day Three

Although it seems like there are not many changes happening on day three, know that our crew is working hard on plumbing and electrical for the equipment and any water features.  Completion of electrical and plumbing is made on day three and you should have water circulating by the end of the day.

Day Four

The next step is very dependent on the weather of the season.  If the odds are with us, concrete forms will be set and the first loads of concrete will arrive.  Depending on your finish choices and scope of the project, this timing varies.

The day after Day Four

Concrete Forms are removed and clean-up work begins.

And finally...

It’s time for Pool School and to enjoy your new backyard!
